About the Health Camp

The General Health Check-up Camp for all age groups was organized at ZP School, Bhoirephata, Maval with the objective of providing accessible healthcare services, early disease detection, and health awareness to the local community.

The camp brought together experienced healthcare professionals who conducted medical screenings, consultations, and health assessments for beneficiaries across different age groups. Participants also received guidance on nutrition, personal hygiene, preventive healthcare, and overall well-being.

Overall, a total of 163 beneficiaries were screened during the health camp, making it a successful initiative toward improving community health and ensuring timely medical support for those in need.

Screening Summary of the Health Camp

1. Dr. Vaijayanti (Pediatrics) screened 60 children aged between 5 months and 15 years. Common complaints identified included anemia, worm infestation, nutritional deficiencies, poor hygiene, pica, loss of appetite, dental caries, allergic rashes, and upper respiratory tract infections (URTI). All children underwent assessment of weight, height, growth, and developmental milestones.Parents were educated regarding appropriate feeding practices, balanced diet, personal hygiene, prevention of accidental injuries, and general child health care.

2. Dr. Amey (General Physician) screened 71 patients from the general age group. The common conditions identified included hypertension, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, asthma, upper respiratory tract infections (URTI), piles, tingling and burning sensations throughout the body, muscle cramps, anemia, acidity, abdominal pain, gastroenteritis, fatigue, generalized weakness, itching, irregular menstrual cycles, decreased vision, otalgia, and chronic wounds. One antenatal mother at 5 months of gestation with a history of anemia was also examined.

One home visit was conducted for an 85-year-old bedridden female patient with a history of right hip dislocation, hypertension, and generalized weakness. Appropriate medications were advised, and the patient and family members received education regarding exercises and supportive care.

3. Dr. Varun (Orthopedics) screened 30 patients presenting with complaints of frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, joint pain, flat foot with arthritis, polyarthralgia, bilateral knee pain, spondylosis, sciatica, rotator cuff tear, ankle pain, lower back pain, and tingling and burning sensations throughout the body.

4. Dr. Rahil (Homeopathy) screened 02 patients.
